Petya Boyukova, author of costumes for the show "Antigone" by Jean Anouilh, directed by Ivan Dobchev is among the authors presented the photographic exhibition "costumes - close-up" at the Library for Foreign Literature in Moscow.
The exhibition was opened on 17 June and will continue until 18 July She realized at the invitation and with the assistance of Bulgarian cultural center and an accompanying event of the international project "Costume at the turn of the century 1990-2015", realized by the Theatre Museum "A. A.Bahrushin "and OISTAT.
The exhibition can be viewed in Sofia in October.
The photographic exhibition "costumes - closeup" presents theatrical costume as a work of art. The costumes are photographed by professional photographers outside the theater performance in an environment chosen by the authors. Through the art of photography exhibition brings the viewer to the theatrical costume reveal its specific nature and details of the dynamics of the show they can not be completely captured and detected.
The project presents seven costume suit with 28 of 12 theater performances, realized in recent years.
