Nikolay Dimitrov was born on July 9, 1979 in Vratsa. He graduated from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2004 with a degree in Acting for theater in the class of professor Snejina Tankvska. As a student he participated in the play “For God`s Sake…Who Started First” from Deyan Dukovski, with a director Deyan Proykovski. After his graduation in 2002, he joined the ensemble of Dramatic Theatre “Sava Ognianov” – Ruse. There he plays the roles of Nyagol in “Albena” from Yordan Yovkov (director Plamen Panev), Rafe Klinche in “The Iron Oil Lamp” from Dimitar Talev (director Assen Shopov), The Son in “The Butterflies are Free” from Leopold Gerstel (director Orlin Dyakov) and others.
Nikolay Dimitrov – Koki participated also in a project in Osnabrück, by playing in the performance of the German theater “Gastarbeiter”. He plays in Stoycho Shishkov`s movie “Football Chameleons”. He speaks English and plays in various musical formations.
