Nikolay Antonov was born on January 10, 1949 in Montana. He graduated from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1972 with a degree in Acting in the class of professor Grisha Ostrovski. Afterwards, he worked in Vidin and Blagoevgrad. In 1978 he joined the ensemble of Sofia Theatre.
