Nevena Kaludova was born on May 22, 1977. She graduated with a degree in Acting from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1998 in the class of professor Nadezhda Seykova. She holds a diploma in Cultural Management and Administration from the “Marcel Hicter” foundation in Brussels, Belgium. For a short period after her graduation, she worked in the Plovdiv Theatre. Since 2000 she is a part of the ensemble of Sofia Theatre. Roles: Varya in “The Cherry Orchard” from Anton Chekhov, Tanya in “Sea Salt” from Emil Bonev, Joanna in “The Other Death of Joanna of Arc” from Stefan Tzanev, Juliet in “Juliet, Juliet”, (based on William Shakespeare), The Girl in “A Midnight Storm” from Andrey Filipov, Dolly in “The Beggar`s Opera” from John Gay, Madame Diderot in “The Libertine” from Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Jeanie in the rock musical “Hair” from James Rado, Gerome Ragni, and Galt MacDermot; Little witch in “Priests and Witches” from texts of priest Mincho Krastev, Sophronius of Vratsa and others, Teddy in “One Horse Power” from Kalin Iliev, Bianca in ”The Taming of the Shrew”from William Shakespeare, Lady Montague in “Romeo and Juliet” from William Shakespeare, Tsveta in in “Scratches from the rain” from Yana Dobreva, Nyagulitza in “Albena”from Yordan Yovkov, Mattie in “They They Shoot Horses, Don`t They?” from Horace McCoy, Marya Antonovna in “The Government Inspector” from Nikolai Gogol, Fani in “The Ugly” from Marius Mayenburg and others.
She has been nominated for the “ASKEER” and “ICARUS” awards. She speaks French and English languages. She practices piano, fencing and dances.
