Mila Bancheva was born on March 17, 1982 in Sofia. She graduated with a degree in History from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2005 and a degree in Acting from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in the following year in the class of professor Zdravko Mitkov. She started working at ensemble Burgas Theatre before joining the ensemble of Sofia Theatre in 2007. Roles: Mask in “The Anonymous Venetian” from Giuseppe Berto, Iphigenia in “Iphigeneia in Aulis” from Euripides, Countess de la Roche-Piquet in “Don Juan on Trial” by Eric- Emmanuel Schmitt, Yerma in “Yerma” from Federico García Lorca, Daniusha in “Marriage”from Nikolai Gogol, Slavka in “PhD” from Branislav Nusic, Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” from William Shakespeare, Gloria Beatty in “They Shoot Horses, Don`t They?” from Horace McCoy, Princess Turandot in “Princess Turandot” from Carlo Gozzi. 
She speaks English, French, and Spanish languages.
