Yuliyan Rachkov was born on September 19, 1984 in Sofia. He graduated from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2007 with a degree in Acting in the class of professor Atanas Atanasov. Roles: Truffaldino in “Servant of Two Masters” from Carlo Goldoni (National Theatre “Ivan Vazov”, director Dimitar Buzakov); Arlequin in “The Game of Love and Chance” from Pierre de Marivaux (director Krassimir Spasov - “Bulgarian Army” Theater); Dr. Indiana Jones and sailor in “Odysseus Travels" from Teddy Moskov (director Teddy Moskov); James in “The Collection” from Harold Pinter (director Anton Ugrinov - Theatre Workshop “Sfumato”); Capitalist, police officer, soldier, public prosecutor, manufacturer from “Capital Against Will Not Pay”, based on texts and fragments of Marx, Fo, Unamuno, Zweig, Suninski (director Sunny Suninski - New Dramatic Theatre “Tear and Laughter”); The Dying from “De tunnelbouwer”(õîëàíäñêè) from Don Duyns(director Vasilena Radeva - Youth theatre „Nikolay Binev”).
He joined the ensemble of Sofia Theatre in September 2010.
