Joanna-Isabella Ivanova Varbanova was born on November 13, 1997 in the city of Sofia. She graduated in "Acting for Drama Theater" at NATFA "Kr. Sarafov" in the class of Assoc. Prof. Penko Gospodinov in 2020. In 2016 he graduated from the National Specialized School of Dance - Specialty "Modern Dance". Joanna-Isabella studied Pop and Jazz singing and has cascading skills.

She made her film debut at the age of 16 with the lead female role in the feature film The Lowland Girl, 2014. Following her participations in: - "6 and 1 in mind" - a feature-length feature film, directed by Lachezar Petrov - 2015 where she was nominated by the International Film Festival in Nice, France, for the leading female role of "Laura"; - the first Bulgarian comedy web series "Not so, brother" on Nova TV; - "Dear Heirs" - TV series on BTV, directed by Todor Chapkanov, Niki Iliev - 2017, in 89 episodes.

He is part of the troupe of the Sofia Theater from January 2021.
