"Hunchback of Notre Dame" (by Victor Hugo) opened the International Theatre Festival MNT Fest in Skopje
The feedback from the impressed audience reached the Facebook page of "Sofia" Theatre. One of them is: "Perfectly !!! I have no words! I am still under the influence ... Bravo to all! ... And the wonderful acting, costumes, makeup, set design, music, a very ambitious project! "
A conversation with Lilia Abadjieva, the director of the show was part of the accompanying theatrical productions festival program. The meeting was attended by students in acting, actors, representatives of the Macedonian National Theatre and media representatives.
"It is naive to believe that the theater will save the world. But if even one little moment of time on stage touches the heart and mind of the viewer, then the theater for me makes sense, "said Lilia Abadjieva during this meeting.
The festival is held for the second time and is organized by the Macedonian National Theatre, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2014 with the first edition of the festival.
From December 7, 2013 is housed in a new building, whose advanced capabilities have allowed the show "Hunchback of Notre Dame" for the first time to accept an invitation to visit. The reason for previous failures of numerous calls is the complexity of the performance requirements and specific stage on which to play. The show has won the award IKAR 2014 for "Master technical implementation."
The festival will continue until July 3, at this year's participating theater from Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey and Georgia.
